The <\/span>Adepi Prize<\/span><\/b> was established in 2019 to recognize the work of individuals and institutions who defend intellectual property rights in general and collective rights management in particular, facilitating the work of authors, artists, publishers, and producers from other fields such as politics, education, economics, or law, and contributing to ensuring that they can continue creating culture within a fair and sustainable framework.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Lawyer Frances Moore<\/span><\/b> was appointed in 1994 as regional director for Europe at IFPI. As the head of the Federation for the past thirteen years, Moore has led the recording industry through its digital transition, raising awareness among policymakers worldwide about the importance of protecting intellectual property rights on the internet.<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>International Literary and Artistic Association (ALAI)<\/span><\/b>, founded in Paris by Victor Hugo in 1878, promotes the international recognition of the legal protection required for intellectual work, developing tools to protect the rights of creators, especially through the organization of congresses and study days dedicated to the comprehensive analysis of copyright law.<\/span><\/p>\n Additionally, this year a new prize<\/strong> was awarded to recognize cultural dissemination efforts<\/strong>, which was given to <\/span>Tom\u00e1s Fernando Flores<\/span><\/b>, director since 2023 of Radio 3, the music and cultural channel of RTVE.
