The Societies\u2019 Council for the Collective Management of Performers\u2019 Rights (<\/span>SCAPR<\/b>) and the Ibero-Latin American Federation of Performing and Executant Artists (<\/span>FILAIE<\/b>) are pleased to announce the <\/span>signing<\/b> of a <\/span>historic framework agreement<\/b>. This partnership lays the groundwork for enhanced cooperation between both federations, enabling all Collective Management Organizations (<\/span>CMOs<\/b>) affiliated with FILAIE to access SCAPR\u2019s <\/span>International Performer Number (IPN) Creation Tool<\/b>, thereby paving the way for improved data exchange management and more streamlined remuneration processes.<\/span><\/p>\n Under this agreement, Collective Management Organizations (CMOs) that are members of FILAIE will now be able to<\/span> create and assign International Performer Numbers<\/b> (IPNs) to the artists they represent, boosting their capacity to <\/span>manage data effectively on a cross-border level and enhancing accuracy in remuneration processes<\/b>. Technical integration for FILAIE societies will begin soon, ensuring they are prepared to use this identification tool efficiently and in alignment with SCAPR\u2019s global standards.<\/span><\/p>\n For FILAIE President <\/span>Luis Cobos<\/b>, the agreement \u201creflects the shared dedication of SCAPR and FILAIE to advance the field of collective management through the use of technology and cooperative frameworks.
