The president of AIE, Luis Cobos<\/strong>, welcomed attendees to the first Music Press Congress<\/strong>, expressing gratitude and recognizing the vital role of music media in promoting artists and music.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

This event brought together key figures in music journalism and cultural sections from major general media outlets, creating an open forum for reflection and consensus-building with the goal of strengthening the profession. <\/span><\/p>\n

During the congress, a current assessment of the profession was presented, the importance of quality music journalism was emphasized, different funding models were discussed, and the issue of limited female representation in music journalism was debated, among other relevant topics for the sector.<\/p>\n
