Albacete, May 31, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 The President of AIE, Luis Cobos, was awarded today the Gold Medal of Castilla-La Mancha in recognition of his extraordinary musical career and his tireless work as an ambassador for Castilian-Manchegan culture around the world. The official ceremony took place at the Municipal Auditorium of Albacete under the slogan \u201c<\/em>Pride in What\u2019s Ours\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n In the words of the President of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano Garc\u00eda-Page, \u201cIt was a long-overdue honor to present the highest distinction of our region, the Gold Medal, to Luis Cobos\u2014not only for his contribution to global culture, but for the pride he takes in representing Campo de Criptana and Castilla-La Mancha in all of his work.\u201d<\/p>\n Santiago L\u00e1zaro, Mayor of Campo de Criptana, added, \u201cLuis Cobos has embodied the pride of being Manchegan throughout his entire life, making this a well-deserved recognition.\u201d<\/p>\n In total, 43 distinctions were awarded today to individuals and organizations who have made exemplary contributions to the progress, culture, inclusion, and well-being of Castilla-La Mancha.
