AIE Goals

  1. AIE manages, improves and protects the economic and moral rights of all music performers and executants in their respective areas.
  2. AIE establishes cooperation agreements with music users to regulate the remuneration and claim the payment corresponding to the use, commercial exploitation and public communication of music and audio visual recordings.
  3. AIE distributes periodically the collected rights among the artists by means of fair and equitable distributions, established in proportion to the use and public communication of music performances.
  4. AIE offers advice to its members regarding their economic rights.
  5. AIE provides its members with more and better resources, grants, training and promotion of young music talents. All AIE members can also access welfare assistance programs, refresher courses and financial aid.
  6. AIE has developed and carries out social and welfare activities to support the elder and its most disadvantaged members.
  7. AIE offers free legal and fiscal assistance to its affiliates for the management of their intellectual property rights.
  8. AIE monitors and works in the supervision and further study of the legislative evolution with regard to intellectual property in order to improve and ensure the legal protection of artists.
  9. AIE organizes and celebrates forums, courses, workshops and training seminars, as well as advocacy activities for the vindication of the rights and interests of the performers collective together with other international entities and organizations.
  10. Honesty, efficiency, transparency and commitment are the cornerstones of AIE.
