PRIVACY POLICY OF AIE, ARTISTS, INTERPRETERS AND PERFORMERS, SOCIEDAD DE GESTIÓN DE ESPAÑA

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to regulate the processing of personal data carried out by AIE, Artistas Intérpretes o Ejecutantes, Sociedad de Gestión de España, with registered office at Calle Torrelara, 8, 28016, Madrid, (hereinafter, “AIE ”) through the website www.aie.es, (hereinafter, the “Website”), as well as establishing the conditions for the installation of Cookies in the browser of the user who uses the same (hereinafter, the “User” ).

  1. TREATMENT OF PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with Organic Law 15/1999 on the Protection of Personal Data (LOPD), the personal data supplied by the User through the relevant online forms of the portal will be treated confidentially and incorporated into the relevant files owned by AIE, which are duly registered in the Register of AEPD (Spanish Data Protection Agency). You can exercise your right to access, rectify, cancel and oppose the processing of your personal data by submitting a written form along with a photocopy of your personal ID or equivalent document to lopd@aie.es or to AIE (Torrelara 8 – 28016 Madrid).

The User expressly consents to the use of such personal data for sending communications for information purposes only regarding the activity of AIE, by email or by any other means.

On the data collection forms, the fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory. In case the User does not provide the corresponding data, AIE may at its sole discretion deny the corresponding service.

AIE adopts the security levels required by the Spanish Regulation of Security Measures approved by Royal Decree 994/1999 of 6 June. However, technical security in a medium such as the Internet is not impregnable and malicious actions or leaks by third parties may take place.

AIE ensures that all personal data will be used for the purpose, in the manner and with the limitations and rights granted by Organic Law 15/1999 on the Protection of Personal Data. The present consent is granted without prejudice to any of the rights which assist the User in the terms established in the aforementioned law, and particularly to the faculty to exercise, free of charge, the right to oppose, access and information, rectify, cancel your personal data and revoke your consent without retroactive effects.

  1. ADECUACY AND PURPOSE

Any personal data requested on the portal shall be appropriate, adequate and non-excessive with regard to the purpose of their processing. AIE does not conduct illicit, disloyal or fraudulent procedures to obtain personal data. The portal will request previous consent from the user concerned whenever the data provided is to be used for a purpose other than that which it was collected or requested.

The main purpose of the procurement of such data is the access to information, administration and educational services, among others. AIE may use the personal data provided by the person affected or concerned to deliver relevant information regarding any activity carried out by these services, requesting prior consent if necessary.

AIE shall not sell or communicate to third parties the personal data obtained, although it may use them for statistical purposes after having conducted a dissociation procedure.

  1. DATA RESPONSIBILITY

In accordance with the current legislation on data protection, “the natural or legal person of public or private nature, or the administrative body that determines the intended purpose, content and use of the treatment of personal data” shall be responsible for the personal data obtained when accessing or using the portal.

  1. RIGHTS OF AFFECTED PARTIES

In accordance with the current legislation on data protection, the User has the right to information, access, rectify, cancel and oppose.

These rights allow Users to:

Access the personal data contained in AIE web files of the individual concerned. Request the rectification of personal data which are inaccurate or incomplete.

Request the cancellation of any personal data, determining whether the consent granted for the treatment of data is revoked.

Oppose to the use of personal data obtained from sources available to the public or provided by the User for advertising and commercial purposes, procuring the cancellation of these.

  1. ACCESS TO DATA BY THIRD PARTIES

Entities which do not belong to AIE, such as Internet service providers, application development companies, support companies, etc., within the framework of the provision of services, may access the data provided in the portal. Service providers do so according to the instructions provided by AIE as data responsible, using any personal data in accordance with the purposes of the service contracted.

  1. USE OF COOKIES

Users may reject the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate setting on their browser. The installation of cookies in the browser is for the purpose of providing Users of the portal with the most adequate service possible. Cookies allow the storage of small volumes of information in the User’s browser, facilitating its reading by the server which registered the cookie.
