AIE becomes the official sponsor of this important event, which will take place in Miami on November 14.
The Society of Artists AIE awarded for the first time the AIE Music Excellence Prize at LIPA, The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, founded by Sir Paul McCartney and Mark Featherstone-Witty in Liverpool, Paul McCartney’s hometown. This prize is given to a graduating student who stands out for their exceptional talent and commitment to music. This significant recognition was presented by Luis Cobos, president of AIE, during the 2024 LIPA Graduation Ceremony.
The president of AIE, Luis Cobos, has welcomed the artists with whom AIE is participating in the celebration of Hispanidad 2024, as a result of the collaboration agreement with the Community of Madrid.
Adepi, the Association for the Development of Intellectual Property, which represents Spain's collective rights management organizations and of which the Society of Artists AIE is a member, held its annual Awards ceremony yesterday. The 2024 edition honored Frances Moore, former CEO of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), and the International Literary and Artistic Association (ALAI). Additionally, Tomás Fernando Flores, director of Radio 3, received the Adepi Cultural Dissemination Award, presented for the first time this year.
The gender pay gap is evident: women's average annual income is 13.4% lower than men's. Additionally, short-term contracts for performance days predominate (77%).
